Back in June of this year I was pleased to work with Tracy Bobbit of Hollywood Mom Blog and Hipster Kid Clothing Company. The shoot was for an article Bobbitt was writing about me and my work and was styled by Hipster Kid Clothing…which I must add, is an awesome place to shop for kid clothing. Destinee & Paris Monroe are hot new musical artists signed with Interscope Records. You can hear their new single on the “despicable me” soundtrack…which also features other artists such as Pharrell, Robin Thicke, The Bee Gees and more.
I was invited to come shoot Destinee’s sweet 16 birthday bash at Level3 and had such a great time photographing this event. These girls are rock’in and are going to blow up the music scene!! Special guest at the party included, Far East Movement, Colette Carr, and many more. Check out this off the hook party!!! Love you Girls!!

This little one came two weeks early…I was so glad I had not left for my trip yet and was able to capture her “newborness”!!! I still can’t believe the hair on this little girlie.
I am loving just using my fixed lens for these types of shoots…it really makes me think through the shots I am taking and how I have to position myself to get the right images.
I so love Downtown Ventura…backdrops galore!! It’s so awesome when a client is open to creative ideas! I wish more people would realize how important it is to have professional portraits done of yourself. Kelly you rocked the shoot and I just had the best time shooting you, you are awesome!!
We headed out to Victorville California for this shoot!! Winds that day were like 25mph, but it worked out to our benefit!! We may have to do a re-shoot do to wardrobe changes so here is a little sneak peek of Keana Texeira from the first shoot.

I still can’t believe my best friend that I have known since we were 3yrs old is a Mommy!! Miss Olive and I had our 7months session together a few weeks back and I can’t believe that she is already standing and crawling around like it’s no big thing! She is going to be walking in no time. I also have to add that this is probably one of the happiest and most inquisitive babies I have ever photographed. Lil’ Olive was a piece of cake to shoot, except for when I plopped her down on a patch of poky grass; then she was a little miffed, but once I picked her up and changed her location she was all giggles and smiles.
I was asked to shoot another event for Main Course California and I have to say they are so awesome to work with.
Here is a new little addition to a very cool family I shot just last year. This little guy was alert and so strong. He sure let me know when he didn’t want to be photographed in a certain position!! I must say this shoot just made me fall in love with my Canon 5D Mark II all over again. Plus add the 50mm f/1.2 lens in the mix and it’s pure magic. Who needs strobes when you have this gear…all you need is some nice window light and a reflector.
